OUR STRATEGIES
Our mandate for the next 10 years demands that we focus on the following strategic areas.
Advocacy
Advocacy seeks to defend and safeguard peoples rights. We are committed to advocate for infrastructure development and accountability on behalf of members of vulnerable communities.
Education
We strive to promote development through minimum standard education and sufficient levels of literacy, numeracy, and life skills to enable people to lift themselves out of poverty.
Gender
Discriminatory practices still persist in many organizations despite regulations to the contrary. We aim to create an open and friendly atmosphere to address gender discrimination issues.
Livelihood
We partner with stakeholders to engage in promoting activities that enable people to cope with various economic and social upheavals and enhance their well-being
CHILD DEVELOPMENT
We train pupils in child rights, rehabilitate Early Childhood Care Development Centers, carry out child protection sensitization. We engage tradition leaders on GBV and child marriages
HEALTH
We set up Primary Health Care units, provide tools to Community based distributors, and clean and safe water, and support children and expectant mothers with Insecticide Treated Nets
NUTRITION
We implement the Realigning Agriculture to Improve Nutrition project funded by CONCERN WORLD in Mumbwa District of Zambia with the overall goal of integrating and realigning agriculture and nutrition.
YOUTH
We conduct peer education outreaches and capacity building for youths. We have also rehabilitated three youth friendly resource centres in various locations.
